Competition-hardened engineer with hands-on ownership of full vehicle development cycles — from first-principles calculations through CAD, simulation, manufacturing, and track validation. Team Leader, HFS Racing. 1st Place EVER Egypt 2024.
I am an Automotive Engineering graduate from Helwan University — Mataria, shaped entirely by a lifelong obsession with motorsport. Every academic and professional choice I have made has been pointed in one direction: building faster, more dynamically capable machines.
My engineering foundation is built on rigorous first-principles work across vehicle dynamics and steering systems, backed by real competition results. I have led teams from Cairo to Doha, taking ownership of the complete development cycle — calculations, CAD, simulation, manufacturing, testing, and technical documentation — rather than contributing to isolated parts of the process.
I approach engineering with precision and persistence. Whether iterating through steering geometry to optimise Ackermann behaviour, or leading a multidisciplinary team under FSUK judging scrutiny, I bring the same detail-oriented mindset that motorsport demands.
Triple podium at Egypt's premier EV competition — Dynamic Track, Design, and Cost categories. Full electric urban car built from scratch: calculations through assembly and track testing.
Completed technical inspection for both urban and prototype vehicles in consecutive years at an international Shell-organised competition in Doha, Qatar.
Leading multidisciplinary development of a Formula Student one-seater targeting FSUK. Full steering system ownership — Ackermann geometry, rack-and-pinion design, steering box validation.
Led vehicle dynamics team through full development cycle. Performed brake and steering system calculations for a 256 kg EV to EVER technical regulations. FEA-validated steering components.
Operates official FIA timing systems for competitive categories at Automobile and Touring Club Egypt events. Coordinates with race control for regulatory compliance and results accuracy.
Hands-on electrical fault diagnosis on exotic vehicles at ESOTICA Service Centre, New Cairo — using wiring diagrams and diagnostic systems on high-performance marques.
Leading multidisciplinary development of a Formula Student prototype targeting FSUK. Directing vehicle dynamics, powertrain, aerodynamics, and frame subteams. Managing FSUK documentation, scrutineering forms, and sponsor communications.
Complete steering system ownership: Ackermann geometry, rack-and-pinion ratio, rack travel, steering effort analysis, and steering box assembly design and validation integrated with suspension kinematics.
Set technical direction and project priorities for the vehicle dynamics team. Managed budgets, timelines, and resources. Supervised manufacturing phase. Delivered a competition vehicle to EVER technical requirements.
Operates official FIA timing systems across competitive event categories. Coordinates with race control for regulatory compliance and result validation at Automobile and Touring Club Egypt events.
Completed automotive engineering training programmes and attended manufacturer update briefings and new vehicle technical training sessions for engineers.
Rotated across Buses/Trucks/Vans and Engine Overhaul departments at a commercial vehicle manufacturer. Gained hands-on exposure to heavy vehicle assembly and engine overhaul procedures.
Electrical fault diagnosis using wiring diagrams on exotic marques including McLaren, Lamborghini, and Porsche at a specialist high-performance service centre in New Cairo.
Completed Pre-Delivery Inspection procedures and test plan documentation on Range Rover and Defender models at an authorised JLR dealership and service centre.
Performed diesel engine services and supported the workshop manager in daily job-card scheduling and workflow coordination.
Carried out scheduled maintenance and systematic visual inspections across 10+ vehicles daily following Nissan OEM service protocols.
Track layout design, event coordination, and safety management across drifting competition events. Liaised with racers, support crews, and audiences to ensure smooth event execution.
Coursework: Vehicle Dynamics, Vehicle Performance, Automotive Control Systems Design, Chassis Design, Stress Analysis, Material Science, Mechatronics, Automatic Control, Computer Aided Design, Automotive Electrical and Electronic Systems.
Building a Formula Student one-seater from the ground up for competition at Formula Student United Kingdom — one of the world's most rigorous student engineering competitions, scrutinised by professional motorsport engineers.
